QUALIFICATIONS:

Prefer high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

 

REPORTS TO:

Principal

 

JOB GOAL:

Guards street crossings during hours when children are going to or coming from school by performing the following duties.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Directs actions of children and traffic at street intersections to ensure safe crossing.
  2. Records license numbers of vehicles disregarding traffic signals and reports infractions to police.
  3. Escorts children across street.
  4. Places caution signs at designated points before going on duty and removes signs at end of shift.
  5. Perform other job duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  1. Ten-month, employee pay and benefits in accordance with Board policy.
  2. FLSA: Non-Exempt
  3. Part Time Employee Benefits: in accordance with Board policy.

EVALUATION: 

  1. Performance to be evaluated in accordance with the Board policy on evaluation of support personnel.
