QUALIFICATIONS:

Prefer high school diploma or equivalent. Prefer one year food service experience. Current food handlers card required.

Cafeteria Manager

 

JOB GOAL:

Prepares andserves food to students, staff, and public.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Prepares, sets up, and serves food.
  2. Assists with production records, temperature records, and sanitation standards.
  3. Maintains food service facilities and equipment in a neat, clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
  4. Assists with the collection of moneys received from appropriate sales.
  5. Performs daily clean up procedures (dishes, sweeping, mopping, etc.).
  6. Maintains clean and sanitized workstations, counters, steam tables and other equipment.
  7. Manages and/or assists with the receipt, storage and rotation of food items and supplies.
  8. Manages and/or assists with appropriate inventory control process.
  9. Communicates with students, parents, and/or staff on appropriate child nutrition information
  10. Communicates with students, parents, and/or staff regarding meal portions and nutritional standards.
  11. Perform other job related duties as assigned.
